bad ideas

LINCOLN, UK

Formed in Lincoln, UK, Bad Ideas were raised on a healthy diet of Chicago based punk rock bands even borrowing their name from the boozy Alkaline Trio song ‘Cooking Wine’. Originally, an acoustic project of former Living Daylights front man, Sam Cook, Bad Ideas would later morph into a full bodied band releasing two full-length albums under Shield Recordings, Fond of Life, No Reason and Bad Mood records, before moving on for their first ‘fully electric’ EP which would be released by Paper + Plastick records and Uncle M music in North America and Europe.

Having built up a bedrock of fans through their acoustic and full-band shows with the likes of A Wilhelm Scream, Into it Over it, Gnarwolves, Sundowner, PJ Bond, Rocky Votolato and The Flatliners, Bad Ideas earned themselves a slot at Groezrock Festival and coverage on BBC Radio and MTV Germany as they gear up for their next full-length release.
